BE A SIDEWALK CHALK ARTIST! Ravenna’s 7th Annual Chalk Fest will take place on Saturday, August 10th from 11:30am-1:30pm. You are invited to be a part of the 225th City of Ravenna's Birthday Celebration! You will be given professional chalk and a brush to create a sidewalk drawing during the Ravenna Rock's Concert in downtown Painters of ALL ages are welcome to come create their incredible works of art on Saturday, August 10. Judging begins at 1:30pm. There will be CASH PRIZES for adult, children and group categories. Sidewalk painters are assigned a square on a first come, first serve basis. All artwork must be suitable for public viewing. No words or symbols intended as advertising may appear within the image: however you may sign your name after judging is finished. Sidewalk artists agree that work done in conjunction with this festival may be reproduced by photograph or video and used by the Ravenna Parks and Recreation Department for promotional purposes. Artists need to check in before 11:30am.
