Visit a Park

This summer I had the pleasure of exploring some of the local parks within Streetsboro. These parks offer something for every member of the family from the young to old and everything in between including the four legged members.

There are walking trails, playgrounds, a dog park, fishing pond, a basketball court, tennis courts, a picnic area and so much more! There are 3 wonderful parks to enjoy in Streetsboro.

The Streetsboro City Park is located at 8980 Kirby Lane. This beautiful scenic park offers outdoor fun for all with a new basketball court, a skate park, tennis courts, walking trails, playgrounds and so much more. There are also pavilions available to rent for that special occasion. It's the perfect place to spend a relaxing summer day.

Thomas Heritage Park is located at 1050 State Route 303. This is a great place to visit with your 4 legged friends. This charming park offers an enclosed area to let your pooch run free and have fun. There is also a beautiful pond to fish, walking trails and a picnic area.

Clare Wilcox Memorial Park is located at 825 State Route 303. This alluring park is ideal for children. With 2 playgrounds, one for 2-5 year olds and one for 5-12 year olds, it is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon of fun. Oh and parents don't worry there are benches to relax on while keeping a watchful eye.

Also, available at the parks is the StoryWalk, which is a fun, educational activity that places a children's storybook along a walking route. It allows the opportunity for people of all ages to combine physical activity with books and build a child's interest in reading while encouraging a healthy activity.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting all of these parks and I hope you will too.
